We are providing this service so that our customers stay informed about changes and normal maintenance schedules to services and servers. There is a new possible email virus going around. It seems to have originated from the domain of the recipients email address. The body of the message is similar to the following or a message that says the mail server shall bedown for a couple of days:
" Dear user, the management of yourdomain.com mailing system wants to let you know that, We warn you about some attacks on your e-mail account. Your computer may contain viruses, in order to keep your computer and e-mail account safe, please, follow the instructions. Further details can be obtained from attached file. For security purposes the attached file is password protected. Password is "35747". Have a good day, The yourdomain.com team" This email has an attachment. DO NOT OPEN. This is the potential virus. |
